Kareoke

I love kareoke, there are so many types overhere.... if you wanna eat lunch and sing (there is a place where you can go), if you prefer just singing in your own private room (there is also such places)... and of course the public ones (haven't seen any yet)...... now all i need is to find people to go with..... yes, it's a bit of a trouble to search of people to join you in anything especially if you go onto a trip alone.... i guess i'm sort of a by myself person (i think, did I hear a giggle somewhere?)... anyway, i like walking around by myself in sydney... so nice and in my no time, no hectic sheduale to follow, sleep when i want.... so relax (and that's what holiday is all about)... the only problem is that you have to keep asking peopl to take photo for you.... and you'll be the only one laughing at funny signs and sights.... other than that, i love it here... i wouldn't mind studying here (but the living cost is $$$$$$$$).... price of food is okie, reasonable ranges from $5 -$10 in Chinatown)... it's the accomadation and transport which are $$$.... hmm....

"World Peace"

This issue came up with my dear roommate (Robina).... here is a thought. If people (backpackers) can get along with everyone in the room, no matter what race, religion or country, why can't people (the whole world) get along with one another.....

In deep thoughts,

I love Sydney!!!

I love Sydney!!!.... it's a whole lot better than Melbourne....

okie, I've only got 32 minutes left to write out all i have to write.......I'm currently in the internet cafe checking all my junk e-mails.... i've got sore feet, and painful knees... been walking for 3 days and i think my knees will be giving way soon.... gonna rest thru out the afternoon for the day....

okie... 1st day in Sydney... all i did was to walk around the place where i live YHA Sydney Central... good location... anyway, when to chinatown etc.....then slept in the evening... get to know my roommates during the nite, then more zzzzzzz.....

the second day. hmmmm... interesting day: nearly got run over by a car.. literally a few inches away... (the problem is i wasn't shock or afraid.... the lady behind me screamed.. and I was like: oh a car just flew by... hmm??) it's abit abnormal.... can't explain it....

Still on the second day, i went to the Opera House, the Sydney Bridge, Dalring Habour.... etc... got lost, found my way.. got even more lost.. still able to get home in peace........
Have terrible aching feet with a few blisters... so a word of advice... buy new shoes if you plan to go for loooooooooog walks.

third day... went to Chinese Friendship Garden... quite a nice place... very "peacefu"and too chinese feng shui... a good place to hve a picnic... or an afternoon of doing nothing.....

yes, pictures and more details will be put up soon... me need to make full use of this internet time.......

Money Money Money

It's end of the "Financial Year" over here in South Australia; I've just receive my tax refund paper thing. Oh a brief explaination: I've worked a month in University, and I've got paid for work (my own honours project).... and of course you get tax. but if your tax is below a certain amount, it's fully refunded. So obviously mine is given back... (i'm currently $450 richer) muahahaha..... so happy....

bounce bounce bounce.... It definatedly made me make up my mine to work here before i go back to Malaysia. so in total that I've earn for a month was about $3100 for just casual work. Imagine that i'm working permeanent....and thinking even further, you have to times by 3 for RM$.... (ka-ching!)....now where can you get that amount in Malaysia?

I've already bought a 1992 baby Charade with most of my paid but i still think it's worth every penny of it. No regrets!

Pack me bags and head off!

Yes!!! I'm heading to Sydney tomorrow!.... I haven't been to Sydney yet, I sure hope that I'm gonna like it there. I didn't like Melbourne, too KL like (not a bad thing) but the cold weather got to me. It felt crowded, cold and dark. I guess I'm more of a Sunshine person.. hmmm?

Anyway, a weeks after that it's home sweet home in good old Malaysia!... sigh, only back for 10 days, have to meet up with friends, go shopping for clothes, eat "see ham", lala, asam laksa, curry laksa, nasi lemak, "lou min", "ha min".... hmmm tummy growling just thinking about it. So many things to do, so little time.

Oh and my job when I go back is to shower my dogs... yes, they need a bit of washing (so I've heard). ever since my dumb maid ran away, household chores are a pain in the #$%#%... it's actually not that bad, if there were less trees.... but then I've always love a good big garden of my own, with vegetables or fruit trees planted everywhere. The annoying part is where you need to sweep and pluck away the weeds.

Right, back to happy thoughts... I'm going on a holiday!!! not gonna worry aout my honours project till I'm back after then hols!

5 seconds rule

Hmmm went and cooked at a friend's place. Haha don't ask about the taste of the food, there are no words to discribe immature cooking skills. Hmm, maybe we were too hungry to be bothered if it tasted nice..?? =P Anyway, there was an incident that happen that involve 5 second rules.
I guess everyone has sort of a habit of picking up and "dropped" foodand placed it in to their mouth. This gives me an idea; there sould be some new food or food packaging that requires the consumer to bang the thing onto the floor in order to consume it... it's sort of a "shake vigorously" drink... crazy thoughts: too much product development last semester. Oh I did chocolate desert sauce for that subject. there's orange flavour and chilli flavour. Trust me, both of them tasted fantastic (although marks are not given for taste, only the process of deriving from kitchen recipe to manufacturing style of recipe).
