Interesting News

Right, this piece of news has been kept from all of you for quite some time. hahaha.... I can stop laughing everytime I thought about it. I went for a movie audition in December 2005. okie let me start from the begining.

This "job" was found in AUU emploment database (from Adelaide Uni website). The Angela Heesom Casting C/-SA Film Corporation was looking for some movie casts. The cast that I fit into was "Young Sue- 19-27 years old Chinese woman. Must speak Mandarin. No previous acting experience required." I emailed them that I was interested in the role. They sent back an email asking for my self photograph. The a week later, they asked me to go in for camera shoot. It was funny and shocking at that time. But truth to be told, it wasn't as "glamarous" as i thought it would be. I went and had a mug shot; yup the type of picture taken by policeman. Literally a front view and a side view shot and at the bottom, a piece of paper with my name on it. they asked acouple of questions like my age, language that I spoke.. etc.. hahaha and it all finished in 5 minutes. It Christmas now, and I havn't heard from them for quite some time. So I'm not even sure if I got the part. sigh... It was fun while it lasted though......

A bit about the movie: The film title is The Home Song Stories.
It starring Joan Chen. The story is about Sue, a glamorous Shanghai nightclub singer, and her struggle to survive in Australai with her two young children. Based on a true story, this is an epic tale of mothers and sons, mothers and daughters, unrequited love and hidden secrets that span continents and decades. The film is written and directed by Chinese Auastralain director, Tony Ayres.

hahah So if you see this movie next time, and you see that I'm not acting in it. It means I didn't made the part (deep sigh... hahaha so close to becoming a big movie star) (*Feels like Joey from friends.....*)

Seriously, deep down inside, I know I won't be choosen cus I don't look like Joan Chen at all. How am I suppose to act as the younger version of her??? hmmmm....but it's the fun of the process that makes life memorable....... winks~*

Goodness, gracious, great balls of fire

Okie I have to admit that i'm so lacking behind the history of my life. So before interesting news that I'm about to tell, a brief update on myself.

Yes I've graduated on the 22 December 2005, Thursday. I'm officially a Food Technologist, who is also a Quality Manager. I am considered a jobless person, as I've yet to look for a food company to work in; but mind you I'm currently working in Uni Lab, doing experiments.
(Pictures of the graduation will be uploaded soon. As soon as I resize and scan some of them.
