Sydney Trip Part 6
Why did I call my friends "culprits"?
This is the reason why. They brought me to YumCha early in the morning... This place feels soo like home, with the push carts zooming pass me every corner of the table. They also fry instantly in front of you, when you ordered the fried stuff (picture below).
This place is such a poplular place that you can't even book. You'll have to walk up ther early in the morning to ensure that that's a place for you to sit. If you arrive at 11am, you'll have to queue up until there are seats available; and yessss they sort of shoo you off when they think you have finish eating. (Yes it was an early morning for me, small eyes, big eye bags, I still had my old hair style =P)
I am not a sweet too person, but this was the cutest push cart in the restaurant. I just had to take a picture!! We ordered mango pudding, mango pancake, black glutinous pancake and some sort of a coconut jelly. The mango pancake was the best dessert dish.

Sydney Trip Part 5
Congratulations to Jill and Anthony.
The vows and the lighting of a new life with one another.
The dinner reception, 1st let us welcome the bride and groom.
The table spread
Quite a nice spread... Not very fancy, quite classy... As for the food; hmmm quite alright, reasonably nice. Didn't get to choose my food. There are two choices of dishes for each course, but you don't get to choose =) they alternate between you, you neighbour and the person next to them.
Appetiser
Mains
Dessert
A small Thank you chocolate; the bride's guests.
The gift that I bought, shared with a friend and pigeon. Japanese tea set...
Sydney Trip Part 4
Let the meal begin:
A refreshing mouthwash to start off the meal;
Sashimi (everyone has one) then followed by what we ordered.
Sea Pearls; Toro of Blue Fin Tuna; Ravioli f slow cooked rabbit
Second appetiser
Of course the meals have to accompanied by a good glass of wine.
I ordered a Confit of Bruce Malcolm's Murray Cod, risotto of Acquerelio rice, shaved winter truffle and silverleaf, white asparagus cream. (can't see the truffles though... hehehe).
The rest of the guys ordered Rare breed suckling pig belly.
Mains:
Crisp skin Northern Territory barramundi, the Day's Special (can't remember the name) consist of scallop and veal (I think, hehehe... opps), Poached fillet of South Coast milk fed veal. This meal was accompanied with a plat of salad, which we shared.
Finally dessert!!
Warm Armagnac frangipani tart; Pear creme caramel
Complimentary sweet dessert; Satisfied customers... (the 3 culprits that caused me to gain weight in Sydney)
Sydney Trip Part 3
Location?? Close Chinatown, behind the Paddy's Market. 4 plates of small dishes that I took ($3 each, totally worth it). There are pig ears, pig trotter, fried anchovies and pickled spicy pork belly. The last picture was the amount of pig trotters I alone ate (there were 2 guys sharing with me). Hence, shows that I LOVE PIG TROTTERS.
